Many of our prevention and education programs are designed specifically to meet the needs of children from diverse backgrounds and unique family settings. In this section, you will find links to various programs our office provides to children. Thanks to funding from the Delaware County Office of Behavioral Health, Division of Drug & Alcohol, many of our programs are free to Delaware County residents and school districts.
BABES: This evidence-based prevention program, designed for K – 2nd grade, provides factual information on alcohol and other drugs, introduces decision making and coping skills, and works to increase each child’s self-awareness.
Living with Purpose: This is an evidence-based mentoring program designed to cultivate positive leadership and goal setting skills with youth experiencing difficulties.
ATOD Calendar & Poster Contest: This campaign works to encourage all students to value healthy lifestyles and to think about the consequences of alcohol, tobacco and other drug use.
Safe Dates: This evidence-based prevention program is for middle/high school students and is designed to prevent the initiation of emotional, physical, and sexual abuse between individuals in a dating relationship.
Gambling Prevention Programs: We offer numerous gambling prevention programs for youth as well as offer an educational in-service training for professionals.
