(SADD) is a peer leadership organization dedicated to preventing underage drinking and drug use by focusing attention on the potentially life threatening consequences of destructive decisions involving issues such as not wearing a safety belt, smoking, steroid use, violence, sexually transmitted diseases and suicide.

The short- and long-term consequences that arise from underage alcohol consumption are astonishing in their range and magnitude, adversely affecting adolescents, the people around them, and society as a whole. When you are armed with the facts, you can choose not to drink alcohol.
