Gambling Prevention Programs

We Know BETter: This program is offered in grades 4-6 and 7-9. The curriculum focuses on a variety of topics, such as media influences,
skill vs luck, addiction, decision making, and refusal skills.

Know Limits (High school and College): This program is intended for high school students and up. Designed as a question and answer game to be played in teams, Know Limits includes gambling prevention questions with general interest categories such as charades, taboo, word scramble and trivia. Know Limits increases youth awareness about issues related to gambling and other high-risk behaviors, in a fun way.

Speaking Engagements: A gambling prevention specialist is available to present an educational presentation for your population. These may include: High risk youth, mental health & drug and alcohol consumers, college students, older adults and the general population.

Also, Holcomb offers In-Service Training for Professionals which are available upon request to provide a customized overview of problem gambling, screening, and treatment resources for professionals in a variety of fields.

These programs are available FREE to Delaware County schools, providers & community organizations!
